work holiday question

i started back in my old job last February and will finish at the end of July.

My query relates to time off and pay.

i was allowed take st. patricks week off as i had the holiday booked prior to my coming back to work. as this was only 5/6 weeks in to my term i was not paid which is fair enough.

however, apart from that i have taken 7 days off. am i entitled to 10 days off over six months? it is a private office.

if so i will not be able to take the remaining 3 days off as there will be nobody to cover me. am i entitled to be paid for these?

i just dont want to be had, i appreciate being asked to cover the 6 month vacancy and dont want to force the issue unless i actually am entitled to something. thanks
 
Yes you are entitled to be paid for any remaining unused holidays at the end of your contract
 
many thanks. since posting i remembered a former colleague tried this also and got the cold shoulder.

hate bosses like that. as i stand i would be the only former employee to be asked back should another maternity leave come up or things get busier. do i leave things as they are or risk not having a potential position in the future, im not sure.
