I need advice on a laminate floor that the builder that I am purchasing the house from has fit. Electric heating was put in the living room. I purchased it and he fit it and laid the floors. Its a roll out electric mat. Both the suppliers of this and of the wooden floors confirmed that it was suitable to use. The problem is that the insulating pads that go on top of the mat and under the floor are 8mm thick. The floor is bouncy(although it seems to have settled down a bit since being fit a few weeks ago). The house isint finished yet so if theres a problem with it it could still be rectified. the builder said that its normal for the floor to move as its a floating floor but im worried its moving too much and may cause problems later. A few friends have also said that it sounds normal. any advice
