Wood Pellet or Solid fuel Stove with BB ?

Just starting a new build, and putting in oil boiler as primary heating method. Also hoping to put a stove in a big open plan area.

Just wondering from personal experience if it is better to go with Wood pellet or solid fuel stove with BB?
