Hi all. In the process of a new build at the moment and want to get quotes for windows. Trouble is I don't really know what questions I should be asking suppliers regarding windows. Also, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations on window suppliers in west of Ireland/Westmeath area.
Thanks in advance

Purchased windows from Reel Windows in Dundalk, dont know if they travel nationwide.
They were slightly more expensive than Munster Joinery.
Finish is excellent. They spent time fitting them and didnt rush job.
Windows have a lovely wood grain effect - they are cream.
Several people have commented on them.
Think I got 22 or 23 windows in total... some doors etc for 9900 in all.
Couldnt happier. No association.

Windows we got have pane fitted from inside so thieves can pull pane from outside.
They are energy efficient and have locks.
When guy came out he wouldnt fit windows with high bars in certain rooms for fire safety etc and certain windows have to hang in a way to allow firemen in with their packs!
cowboys wont mention the above and will fit whatever you want but better to do it right in the long run.
