Anyone know much about this road? Going to look at a house near the Kildare Road end. Have seen the other threads about Crumlin in general but would like a bit more in-depth info about this road.
It used to have a dreadful reputation, and local wisdom has it it's still far from being one of the better streets in the locality. The recycling centre's close, though!
Not a location I'd recommend for someone who doesn't know the general area quite well. There are much nicer roads in the Crumlin area, without paying a hefty premium, and same general house style.
Thanks for the info. Am from Drimnagh so know Crumlin a bit but not too well. Am living in Finglas at the moment and it's mad over here, so don't won't to jump out of the frying pan into the fire.
When you look at this previous thread it makes you wonder if the road will be very busy with a lot of money being spent on the sports facility? I think it is the one with the park and swimming pool. If so, it is already busy with traffic. There are also new apartments there.
