Will I lose bookmarks if installing new Firefox?

Firefox recently released a new version of their browser which I was thinking of installing as I've been using FireFox for a few years now and am very impressed with it.

If I install the new version would I lose my bookmarks or does it install them in the new version?

Installing

Please note that installing Firefox 3 will overwrite your existing installation of Firefox. You won’t lose any of your bookmarks or browsing history, but some of your extensions and other add-ons might not work until updates for them are made available.
