Will i get loan on one parent allowance

im currently receiving one parent family allowance for myself and twolittle boys, im looking for part time job and was just wondering has anyone in my position gotten a loan from credit union for example on these conditions?

hi busymom, loans from credit unions are usually based on a multiple of your savings and also your repayment capacity. So do you have any savings at the moment in the credit union? And can you show that you could repay the loan? Eg you want a loan with weekly repayments of €50 then if you can show you already save €50 a week they can see you could repay it. If you can't make ends meet as it is then they would not give a loan to someone not able to repay. Good luck. Phone and ask them.
