Wife wants (has to!) go back to work

Not sure if this is the correct forum, but here goes -

I am self-employed, but not doing too good recently. Both kids are grown up, so, to help out, my wife has expressed an interest in going back to work, despite being out of the workforce for many years. Regardless of the difficulties around getting a job, I recall a scheme (FAS ?) where women in this situation were assisted in the past - can anyone point me in the right direction for this?

First step is for her to register with her nearest FÁS office and ask about doing a training course under the Women Returning to Work programme.
