For a couple who were married but living apart (however never got a legal separation or divorce)- would there be an entitlement to a widows pension on the death of the husband? The wife would have sufficient PRSI contributions in her own name for a contributory pension. Thanks.

If the woman isn't cohabiting, then she can apply for a widow's pension in the circumstances you describe.
