Why is Income Tax option not available on ROS

Currently only CAT and Excise Duty.
I have searched this forum and emailed my enquiries (which may take 25 working days)

Scary because I assumed I would do my return on line and have until the 12th November.

As you are already registered for ROS, use the ROS option per the FAQ.

ROS Users:
Individuals can register additional business taxes online by logging into ROS and selecting "Manage Tax
Registrations" under the "Services" tab.

myAccount Users:
You can register online by logging into your account and selecting "Tax Registrations".

When I go into ROS/My Services

There are various Tax Options.
Under Income Tax it says "Ceased" >>>>>>>>> Re register.

I've gone through a few hoops to reregister and have no idea why it ceased in the first place.
I m working on doing a paper return if this fails.
 
This happened me last week. I rang up and they told me that I need to send a TR1 form in by email to the reg department. As stated above hit re-register and fill that out anyway. Then ring them to get the precise email address. It took about 3 days for the 're register' to change to 'cease register' and another 3 days for the correct year to appear in the Income Tax - Form 11 page dropdown. They told me on the phone that they had a note on my file to assure me that no surcharge would apply if I was not registered in time.

Many thanks for your very helpful response.
I called revenue yesterday and they basically said the same as yourself.
They had no idea why my income tax registration has ceased.
They said I did NOT need to submit TR1 as I was previously registered.
I note today (36 hrs after RE-registering) that I have INCOME TAX available on my drop down box.
I used my waiting time to populate a paper Form 11, but they said I wouldn't be allowed to submit a paper return as I was registered with ROS.
Having the paper form should speed up my inputting anyway.
I hope this helps some one else.

You should try navigating some other tax administrations, you’d welcome ROS with open arms fairly lively.
