Out for a drink in Gibney's in Malahide last night watching the football and couldn't believe it when I was charged €5.40 for a pint of guinness, how can this be justified the list price on display showed €5.10 but I was told I was drinking in the lounge and so the price was 30c more, needless to say I left after one went across the road and paid 90c less for the same drink.
Can someone let me know how the price of a pint has continued to go up even in recessionary times, just madness......

Because people still continue to pay those prices! How did you let them away with that one, why not say ill pay whats advertised or its a pint down the drain?

Yep, you've got to let them know you're dissatisfied, and that you are going somewhere else as a result. Shame on Gibney's, an otherwise excellent establishment...
