Why does a moved post not appear in new posts?

I see now that my earlier post was moved to "Shooting the Breeze". Should it not automatically appear as a 'new post' when I click on new posts? Usually when I send a post it appears immediately in new posts.
 
Thanks CCOVICH, but I think the Mod moved mine to 'Shooting the Breeze' (I originally posted it in non financial misc).

The Depths forums were recently excluded from the New Posts/Today's Posts searches due to (a) resource contraints and (b) the fact that they are non core forums mainly provided to keep rubbish out of the core forums.

Oh! I didn't know that: I must go and check The Depths to see what hilarity has been posted recently :)
