Who took my mug?

I like a nice cuppa when I get to work in the mornings, even bought my own mug for work to drink it from. But now, someone keeps taking my mug & tea just isn't the same from a cup/chipped mug left gathering dust in the back of the press. Why do they take my mug?!
 
Because it's the only clean one there maybe? Leave it with tea stains round the rim, bits of melted choc digestive on the handle and maybe they won'e take it anymore .

Yrs ago, in a place I worked, one of the girls brought me back a mug from Ibiza. Used it for 5-6 yrs. When I left, the boss followed me to the car on the day I was leaving with the mug...you forgot this she said.

That is brilliant - it made me smile, even though I haven't had a decent cuppa yet!! Will have to put that on my shopping list.

Graham07 - i don't think i could leave my mug dirty, its against my nature. I might have to take to locking it away in the evenings though!

I am reduced to using the Podge and Rodge mug which clearly states:

"Do not dip mickey into hot liquids"

Mention loudly about the cold sore that you got off another mug in work that wasn't washed properly and talk loudly about your new one with your name on it.

Odds on - no one will take it!

I used to do that, but laziness has got the better of my lately. Think I might have to lock it away in the evenings again. Otherwise it'll be a race to be first in in the mornings to get my mug out of the press.
 
Just wondering when your all at home do you keep using one particular mug all the time? I do usually.
 
I'd be going all over the office making a BIG deal about not being able to find my mug... and when i found it, just take it!

I know it does seem really petty...but I like my own mug too.

I think this may be my next course of action - though my mug was waiting for me this morning. Maybe the mug stealer saw the error of his ways!
