Don't just think of from the point of resale value or building extensions, think about from the point of view of living in the house as it is for several years and your level of convienience and comfort.
Does the end of terrace have a window in the upstairs hall? Natural light in the hall will make a big difference to the upstairs.
Is there access to the back garden? Is there a laneway running behind that you can use for the mid terrace? The end terrace will have a side gate. Lack of access will become a problem when you are dragging dirty bins or bikes through the house or if you are laying decking or planting large shrubs/trees in the back garden etc.
