which is cheaper gas or electricity?

I've a gas leak in my double oven so I need to replace it.
I'm thinking of switching the double oven to electric. Does anyone know where I'd find a comparison of cost of running a typical household gas double oven as opposed to an electric one. Purchase and installation costs are pretty similar.
