Which bank for Current Account?

Hi all,
I want to set up a new joint current account with my husband, simply to pay for our monthly outgoings. Which is the best bank to set up with nowadays? Am a bit wary of Ulster Bank and really want minimum or no bank charges. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Have a read through this. If you're averse to Ulster Bank, then fee minimisation/elimination with other banks requires actively managing your account to ensure you stay within the T&Cs.
