I'm looking for interleaved tin foil. I used to buy it in my local Tesco store but I haven't seen it for a year or more and the staff look at me blankly when I enquire about it.
I can get oodles of rolls of foil in various sizes but no one seems to know anything about the interleaved variety that they used to sell in a flat rectangular box.
I'm actually beginning to doubt myself now - maybe I just imagined it! Maybe it was just a figment of my imagination!
Thanks for the suggestion. I think a hairdresser's foil would be much smaller than what I'm looking for. I need sheets to cover a small grill pan or big enough to wrap a sandwich in - with room to spare. My mother has arthritis in her hands and finds the interleaved ones handier than trying to tear pieces off a big roll. I'll probably head for the Cash and Carry on Saturday, I might be lucky!
