Where to buy standard (CRT) TV?

I'm looking to buy a standard (or should I say old) CRT TV, ideally widescreen, 28 inch. I've been told CRT tvs aren't being manufactured any more!

The only one I can see is a Playsonic 28 inch wide screen for about €225. This would be ideal but would prefer a better manufacturer. I've looked up Argos.ie but they seem to have no TVs on sale?? Thanks for any help!

Well seem to have a range of "tube TVs" as they call them. I presume lots of other retailers still do too?

The Argos.ie website does not reflect the full contents of the catalog and is not worth depending on to be honest.

They DO have them in PowerCity - I was there on Sunday - there is a decent range, in different sizes.

if you go onto one of the recycling sites like dublinwaste.ie you will find a lot of folk offering their old crt tellys for free after they went a got themselves a new lcd or plasma.

Thanks guys, almost got a free 32 inch tv on dublinwaste.ie but alas gone. Anyway I've eyed up a Beko 28 inch widescreen in PowerCity.ie which should be fine. The same one is listed in the Argos.co.uk site but unfortunately out of stock (Armagh much closer than Drogheda to me). Thanks again!
