You need to open a profile account would imagine over 18 call to branch maybe
 
I think you might not be comparing like with like.

This 3-year credit union offer seems to be 1.66% per year (or 5% in total after three years).

AIB offer around 3% per year for a 2 year term. PTSB offer 3% per year for a 3 year term. Banks on Raisin offer more than 4% per year for terms of 1 to 3 years. So, I think you can do a lot better than this credit union's offer.

Ok so TSB seems best - the credit union has max of 50 k
