Just looking for a bit of advice, I bought my own house back in 2005 , since then I have met a lovely man and he moved in with me in 2007 and pays rent and we have talked about getting married thing is he has a 5 yr old child but was not married to the childs mother im just wondering that if I got married to him and god forbid something happened to him would his child be entitled to part of my house? also I know my husband to be would have some claim but im not sure how much can anyone advise? the reason I am asking about the child is not because I dislike the child its because the childs mother would make things very difficult if she thought her child had a claim on my house if anything were to happen to my 'husband'! any advice would be greatly appreciated!
