Where can I buy a fire back

What it says...

Am looking to buy what is apparently known as a split fireback..it clicks/clamps together vertically down the middle.

At least thats how it was described to me; unfortunately they couldnt tell me where to get one and no amount of googling has helped...

I haven't seen one that is split down the middle, definitely down the middle and not across it? Mind you I haven't seen a lot of them anyway but had to change my own last year and didn't see any like that in the shops. I bought mine in a local hardware shop, old fashioned place but most of the fireplace suppliers locally had them too but much more expensive!

I'm sure you can get them locally. Try one of the bigger builders providers
