I am totally useless at this type of thing, trying to get better.
Up until now I have had most of the credits as I earn 45k and husband earned 19k.
He has now got a new job paying 29k approx. I am still in my 45k job.
I rang Revenue the other day to change over tax credits and I was told I have to get registration number of husbands new company - do I just ask them for this?
Also I got the impression I will need to tell Revenue how I want to split credits and I havent a clue.
We are married if this makes a difference................
