Hi,
I've been looking for the 2022 CGT1 firm to make my return for Jan-Nov. On the Revenue website I only find the 2021 version.
Any idea where it can be found?
Thanks

Just strike out 2021 and write 2022?
Worked for me in the past for other tax forms.

It's not due yet. So it's not available untill the tax year ends. The tax year runs January to December. The payment periods for CGT are just payment periods not filing periods. The filing period is January to December.

ROS is handy for making a CGT payment but it has no facility to file a CGT Return. Stupid state of affairs, I know.
Self assessed declare their CGT through their form 11s on ROS. PAYE only, use a PDF version of a CG1 and can upload through MyEnquiries. It's about daft alright it's not directly included in MyAccount for PAYE only taxpayers.

Actually there are cases where a self-assessed person will have to file a current year CG1 eg a non-resident required to apply for a Letter of No Audit.

Uploading via MyEnquiries is a farcical substitute for a proper online filing facility. In that case, the filer is totally at the mercy of the individual handling it at the other end, who might conceivably take til doomsday to type the filed particulars into the Revenue system.

As far as I know myAccount also has no facility for doing a CGT return but you can make a CGT payment.

A few people that I know used myAccount to do the payment and then filled in the PDF return form and attached it to a myAccount message and dealt with matters that way.

Revenue really should add the ability to do a CGT return to myAccount (and, presumably, ROS).
