What to do with wood chippings

My sister cut down 10 pine trees and put the wood through a chipper she now has numerous bags of wood chips /mulch. Anyone know anyone who would want them? She was going to bring them to the dump but would prefer to give them to someone if they're of use.
 
They are a great slow-acting mulch. I am sure that if she asked around among her neighbours, she would get plenty of takers.
 
Your sister could advertise on freecycle, some people have wood pellet burners and this would burn well.

It can be mixed into soil in the garden, however it can sometimes draw out nitrogen so its best to add nitrogen to the mix too.

Farmers use it for bedding for ducks/hens etc. Rabbits also need wood chips/shavings for bedding and get great warmth from it. They can also use them for cattle and horses for wood chip pads to help underfoot.

I would love some wood chipping for the garden. Only problem I'm in Kildare, any ideas on how I'd get them??

I paid E400 for a truck load of woodchippings last summer. You're SIL could probably sell them. Maybe try the buy and sell
