Just got my AIB statement on a fixed deposit account that I have 20K in for a number of years. The new rate that will be effective in the next fixed period is 0.00%.
Finally I have decided that I'd like to invest this money in something that might give me a return.
I have no problem putting it away for 10 years in something medium risk. But I have no idea where to start? Is there a product that I can stick it in and forget about and just pay a smallish management fee along the way and just hope for the best that I make a return ?
