I moved to the UK last octiber for work.

Te uk tax year has just ended.
And the orish tax year ended in teh new year.

Can someone please explain how i pay tax?
i.e. My earniungs in teh uk - are thee considered as earning when I calculate y irish tax bill?

And also - vice versa.

I'm confused.

If you moved indefinitely to the UK and will break Irish tax residence, you can claim split year relief in both countries - only taxable in the UK on income after you arrived in the UK, and only taxable in Ireland on the Irish income earned up to the date you left Ireland.

However you need to establish your rewsidence position in the first instance.
