what should I do with my euros.

hi.

I have 50 000 euros spread out in various banks on deposit accounts.not a whole lot buts its taken me a long time to save it ,and Its all I've got.

So I now believe, as I have for a log time, that the euro is going to fail,I was just hoping I was wrong and things would sort themselves out,

So my question is Gold or silver?
I cannot go to germany to open a bank account there.I need to change my euros to something that will not disapear overnight. I am not interested in the consume consume idea of buying big tvs or a new car. I would like to keep my savings for future use.

So can someone reccomend a place I can buy Gold and silver? Also If i was to get physical possesion of it,would I have to collect it myself? I was thinking of half gold ,half silver and though Im not sure thats wise,I feel its better than just leaving it in the bank as euros.
