What savings account to choose which will benefit child @ 18?

All,

Does anyone have recommendations on a long term regular saving account (or investment account) which can be paid paid into monthly - the idea is to have a little lump sum for a child when they read 18/21?

No withdrawals over that time and probably best if also index linked in some way.
