I just saw this in Irish Examiner web edition - a cunning ad. Is this misleading or am I paranoid?

Debts over €5,000?
nationaldebtrelief.ie
New Government Debt Solutions To Clear Secured & Unsecured Debts

You click and you get this

http://www.nationaldebtrelief.ie/?gclid=CInp4Ij1iL0CFYJ92wodgZMAzg

And does anybody know what these registration details mean?

"..National Debt Relief © 2004 - 2012 All rights reserved.
Company Reg No: NI051195 | Consumer Credit Licence: 0611930
Data Protection Registration Number: Z1130877"

Are these UK registration details? Company number is not Irish for starters.

It looks as if it is based in Derry, and has only one director, a Conor Duffy aged 32. He seems to be involved in a number of companies operating in debt planning/management.

Nice website, has a real address, a landline phone no, pictures of the team who presumably are real, a VAT number and a credit licencing number. Looks legit. Also mentions an Irish accounting body. So real easy to check them out.

I presume this is a Derry based company with many years experience who now want to deal with 26 county clients, and it's easy for them as they are already up and running.

@padraigb and @bronte thanks for that.

What about the name? Would it not give the impression of being a state type entity?
