What happens with a CLG without minimum required number of Directors?

Can anyone knowledgeable about company law in Ireland advise on what should happen with a publicly-funded CLG charity with one remaining Director ( out of 2 required) and a secretary that is the accountancy firm?
Should it be wound up? It's also imminently insolvent as it's lost its funding.

As the remaining director is a nominee of the Department I am sure that he will take legal advice on the issue and proceed appropriately.
