What happens shares when company is suspended from Stock Exchange

I have some shares in a company which is in Receivership and the Shares have been suspended on the Stock Exchange.Company is in process of been sold .
My question is concerning those shares .
What happens them if company is sold?
If company recommences business can the shares be re floated on Stock Exchange?
What is the general trend in situations like this? Thanks for any comments.

your best hope is to claim a CAPITAL LOSS at the end of the year in your tax return. the chances of them coming back are very very slim.
