I need a new phone, I'm on O2 and probably want to stick with Nokia phones (cos of all the spare chargers around the house mainly). Before I go ahunting for a new phone I was hoping someone could give me a list of features to look for please. I don't want to pay a lot but am not sure how much fun stuff comes as fairly standard these days. What should I be looking for? Thanks

Just to note, that most of the new Nokia use a different charger with a different connection so those old chargers may be redundant.

Have you taken a look through the O2 website for what phones they have available?

I just read an article that said o2 were planning to give the new improved iphone free with certain plans. Ofcourse that could take forever.

Still sent the link to my hubby though

you're kidding, well that certainly opens up my options a bit.

Yes I've seen what phones are available, I'm just not sure what features are worth paying for like
- extra memory
- bluetooth(seems standard)
- 3G
- what mp camera is needed for decent pics?
- memory stick worthwhile or usb?

Memory only matters if you intend storing pics or tunes on the phone. If you intend to, then get something that can take an extra memeory card.
Bluetooth is very useful.
3G only necessary if you are interested in using internet via your phone.
2mp, though not all 2mp phones are equal. Sony Ericssons have the best cameras IMHO.

Check www.gsmarena.com for reviews of thousands of phones

Latest Nokia charges have smaller connection than before.

thanks soy, thats helpful, will the memory sticks I have for my sony camera work on the sony phones do you know? I can check myself but if you happen to know it'll save me the time
