What Do i need when sale agreed

Hi

We are in the process of buying our first home and just need some advise to make it run as smoothly as possible.

We are going to put a deposit on a house today
we have been approved for the mortgage
have the full deposit/stamp duty

I would just like to know what' else i should be organising in order for things to run smoothly.

You will need a solicitor and a surveyor to get a house structure survey done. Once your contracts are signed, you should start organising a moving in checklist. Shop around for home/contents and life insurance also. If the vendors are not leaving appliances, keep an eye out for deals on white goods, but I wouldn't commit to a purchase until your contracts are signed. Same for furniture (beds/sofa's etc).
