What constitutes living together and what are my rights

Hi.

I have been in a relationship for 6 months and own my own house. My girlfriend has started to stay over more and more - I stay at her rented house some nights too.

I've not decided whether or not to commit to a long term relationship and wondered... If she stays at my house and vice versa say four times a week - does that constitute living together and should I be worried about her potential rights to my house. She has recently started bring her child over and has asked about me buying a sofa bed for her to sleep on.

Can anyone help here?

Relax. At the moment cohabitees have no rights even if you were considered to be cohabiting. This may change in the months or years ahead with the introduction of new law.
