What can i put in the brown bin?

Hi there, new to having a brown bin as I have allways lived in apartments and not sure what exactly I can put in the brown bin?

For instance can I put potatoes in the brown bin?

Can I put ALL food in (cooked and uncooked)?

Bit of a daw question but does food also include bones and chicken carcasses ?
 
Only thing I would mention as a bit of a "Yuk" warning. In the heat of summer, flies lay eggs, and you can get lots of maggots from meat. It's happened to me once or twice. I get around it by placing meat in tightly sealed heavy paper bags or biodegadable plastic bags.
