I am currently renovating a house. I am in two minds about my central heating / hot water options. I would appreciate any advice.
My two options are a Waterford Stanley Brandon oil Range supplemented by solar panels.
My other option is a solid fuel Waterford Stanley Donard Range supplemented by a condenser oil boiler also with solar.
The house is 150 square metres ( over 1600 Square feet) and I expect to have 10 12 Radiators. It is located in Rural Ireland. It is also being newly insulated.

Thanks

Any advice would be appreciated

I would agree with the solar panels and condensing oil boiler. the condensing boiler will be better on a sealed heating system but the stanley stove will be open vented this could be a problem

Please explain why you think an open vented system would be a problem?

I would go for the solid fuel, condenser, and maybe solar panels.
