Water filter

Im looking at getting this rotary water [broken link removed] into the house from a co. called SDF. Anyone got it already and can give a review? And is there anything I should specifically look out for when purchasing a filter?
This particular filter appeals to me as I dont have to continually purchase the salt which I know is associated with other filters, but if that rotary filter is not filtering out everything the salty filters do, then I may rethink.

I just had a quick look at the site you linked.
When people talk about water filtration they usually want stuff like bacteria etc taken out, the SDF system makes no claim to do this.
For bacteria, UV systems are typically used.

But a water treatment solution for the home may have several seperate elements to it; a water softener, a bacteria filter and a carbon block or reverse osmosis unit to remove other dissolved nitrates, minerals etc etc.

To get back to your origional question, maybe try a search of consumer association web sites, Which in the UK or an american equivilant.
