water connection

any ideas how much awater connection to main would be there would be a road crossing involved for my new build ,inishowen ,donegal
i know i will have to contact council,just arough price for now

I think it varies from Council to Council.

You will need a licence to open the road, this is granted when you pay your Connection Fee.

You will also need to buy a meter.

All this info, amount of Fee, was on my PP.

At time I did mine, it was alot.

if you have planning it should be broken down as part of your development charges.a rough guide for laying water main would be 50 euro per metre including pipe,stone,labour,fittings etc... be aware that you will need to pay your charges before donegal county council will give you permission to start.
