My 3-year old Hotpoint has begun stopping midcycle, with on/off button flashing. Once managed to get it re-going but has now done it again, so something must be wrong.
Am I foolish to take a name from Golden Pages to get it fixed??
There are so many entries under wash machine, with Active or Alllied or AAA or some such prefixes-- yet no actual name of a person or owner of company--or even location- as they use mobiles to ring.
If you call, they dont give a price when you explain what is wrong, and say there is no callout charge, they'll tell you the price when they look at it.
They only give first names when asked for name of owner or whoever is going to come--- am I silly to be wary?????
There are only two careful users of the machine, it's still in showroom condition, except for this.
any idea what this will cost me???
