Warm Freezer, Cold Fridge

Hi,

Having problems with out fridge freezer, it is a Powerpoint trf285.
I believe fridge is frost-free design and freezer is manual defrost.

Currently we have a nice cold fridge and a freezer that is only slightly chilled.

Here's the history:

0) Noticed more gurgling noises than usual from fridge freezer. Presumed this was due to device having to work harder during heat wave.

1) Freezer was warming. Fridge was cool but getting warmer.

2) Emptied nearly all food from freezer in case it was too full. Freezer started cooling again to -20 , Fridge remained very warm.

3) Defrosted Freezer. Fridge now nice and cold but freezer is still only slighly chilled probably same temp as fridge. Frequent gurgling sounds continue.

Any suggestions with what could be wrong.

Hi, I am new to this forum stuff, looking for the reverse reason for my trf295: fridge was not working and now is again.

I am trying to find out about the warranty for these machines, any ideas or what happened to you?

I was told to contact the powerpoint distributors. http://www.shomar.ie/

They did a service call and told me the fridge needed to be replaced.
( I bought a Zanussi instead. )

appreciate the prompt response. I was on to them. Kitchen world never told me that there was a ten year warranty if we registered during year 1!
