Wardrobes

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm looking to get a built-in wardrobe for my single room. The problem is that the room is quite small and i want to get the wardrobe to be put over a box that's in the room. This box is the box that covers part of the staircase (i hope I'm making sense!!). I've checked a few places and most seem to do standard height wardrobes and any place that has given me a quote its been around €800. All it'll be is a two-door wardrobe around 4foot wide x 6foot high so €800 seems a bit pricey - anybody any ideas...... Many thanks...

Re: Wardrobes (Cork)

You could get a wardrobe made up by a competent carpenter with two doors
and some sliding gear and it cost as little as 400 depending on finish internal fittings ect

This company did a lot of work for me recently. Can't recommend him enough - came when he was supposed to and was very reasonable. Ask for Bernie - O'Mahony O'Donovan, Carrigaline - (021) 4371605

Thanks a mill... as it happens I'm living in Carriagline so will give them a call tomorow. Thanks again!

i live in dublin, for that wardrobe, for €800, ill personally drive to cork measure up and then drive back and fit myself at the moment.seriously if you pay more than €450 your paying too much, the carcass and doors will only be between 150 & 180 € max

As it happens i rang O'Mahony & O'Donovan this morning and told them what I was looking for and was given a quote of 'around' €750! There must only be a recession in my house!!!
