I see the new regulation but just want to get it straight in my head.
Since October 2006 I have been insured continuously with BUPA aka QUINN aka LAYA.
I am thinking of quitting LAYA.
I have an existing medical problem since well prior to 2006. It is a spinal problem that flares up intermittently.
Q1. If I switch to AVIVA or VHI is my waiting time already served for the pre-existing back problem ?
Q2. If I switch to AVIVA or VHI and take a product that has "better" cover than I have presently is my time still served for the pre-existing back problem in respect of the "better" element of cover or have I to serve a further period in respect of that "better" element of cover ?
Thanks.
