w2k recovery cd

Help!

i have a problem with my laptop at the moment it wont boot up complaining of a corrupt registery file, and instructs me to insert the w2k recover disks or cd, unfortunately i cant find mine, wud anyone know sumwhere i could download these or lay my hands on the cd?

You won't be able to download these legitimately as you need a licensed copy. You can sometimes get/buy additional copies of the relevant OEM version of Windows from the PC/laptop manufacturer. Some manufacturers don't ship installation/recovery CDs/DVDs but included a special OS recovery partition on the hard disk. What make/model of laptop?
 
Does your laptop have a valid COA with serial number on it... if it does then you can get a lend of a cd and install legally....

edit:

I think they stopped doing win 2k oem's a while back , but try ebay as people upgrading often sell them on..
