VW Golf 1.6 Sportlines or Ford Focus 1.6i Ghia

Hi All,

I'm looking at changing my car at the moment, I'm stuck between a 2005 Ford Focus 1.6i Ghia or a 2004 Vw Golf 1.6 FSI Sportsline.

Both are roughly the same price, focus is a slightly better spec I.e. Has Air Con, front fog lights and that's it really. Obviously it's a year younger then the VW as well.

Never driven a Ford before and I'm just 100% percent sure.

Focus Zetec is the sports model. Has a/c, abs, computer, alloys, sports seats, uprated suspension etc. Ghia model is more luxury orientated, and is aimed firmly at the "mature" end of the market.
