I have been paying Perfect Fit 200 costing €49 per month for the past twelve months.
At the weekend I looked up what other prices plans were available and I was very peeved to see that Perfect Fit had been replaced by Perfect Choice 200 Costing €49 per month also but - Had extra- 200 texts, cheaper texts, free Vodafone to Vodafone calls and texts every weekend.

So as I didn't check this out myself I have been missing out for the last while.
Should Vodafone not give customers this information with their bill?

Feel a little hard done by, but glad that I took the time to check it out.

Probably should be but stuck on a 18 month contract but will definitely be shopping around when it is up!!

If everyone was on their optimum tariff, each of the mobile companies would lose millions of revenue each month. So while they might bring out new tariffs, they're not going to announce to all the Joe Bloggs out there that they should change tariff to save money.

and actually they blame it on the Irish data protection act of all things! they say that because of the Irish data protection act they cant change anybody's tariff without peoples permission and that they try and call everyone but unless you've opted in etc etc they cant contact you to change.... secret is and i know i used to work for them why would they want to change you? if they're making extra money of you without telling you? why would they say anything? capitalism is still capitalism at the end of the day! i now work for an independent retailer rather than a network!
oh and p.s you can change your tariff any time with Vodafone so don't worry about contracts and stuff

When I was with Cellnet in the UK years ago, they sent you a cheque every 3 months if you weren't on their most cost efficient plan eg if you made a lot of international calls one month and being on a more expensive tarriff would actually have saved you money cos the calls were cheaper, they refunded the difference. Same with being on a plan higher than you needed to be.

I recently moved to Perfect Fit 100, noticed that unused minute and texts were not being rolled over. Contacted Vodafone and minutes and text are not rolled over on these tariffs, I was advised to move to a lower plan but as my minutes normally fall between 2 plans this is not ideal.

When I rechecked the terms and conditions it is mentioned but I had missed it, am really annoyed about this. All previous plans I had with Vodafone did include rollover. I feel that it should have been highlighted further.

I pointed out that if I had unused mins/texts one month and went above by the exact same amount some months later I would end up paying twice. The advice I was given was to make sure I use my mins!!

Will be moving once my contract is up.
