A new tenant that moved in the last couple of months, there is an issue in relation to people who visit her, ie parking in front of neighbors drive way and not moving car when asked by neighbor. Also a couple of other minor issues.

Tenant themselves has no issues with neighbor as said to me by neighbor who says she is nice. The neighbor rang me to tell of issue.

How do I go about talking to the tenant in relation to the visitors she has and how they should behave.

Can I give her some sort of written warning if this happens again or what should I do or what can I do.

Re: Tennat issue

I had a similiar problem where a neighbour told me one of my tenants was blocking her boyfriends car in, I made it plain to her it was not my concern if she had a problem she should go to the Garda but that I would tell the tenant the same thing (no problem since).

In my view it would be best to tell your tenant it would be in their friends interest not to be blocking other peoples access as it is against the law and they can be fined for doing it.

I would certainly not be giving them a warning as their friends have nothing to do with you, now if you lived there it would be different.

Don't talk to the tenant, talk to the Gardaí.
