Friend of mine bought a USB turntable to convert his vinyl to cd. Audacity came with the turntable but he's having a lot of problems with the mac crashing during the transfer. Anyone out there successfully used a mac to do this?
Usually if its the mac crashing with a usb device then the problem is the driver. has he downloaded the newest one for the machine. Also check is his USB using USB 1 or USB 2, that might be causing the crash
