Hi can anyone help me on this? I am making a claim to vhi but awaiting some reciepts, does it matter if my policy lapses before I send in my claim?

Once you were covered at the time of the treatment, you are fine. The claim assessors compare the dates of the treatment to the dates of coevreage to deteremine whether to pay. As you were covered at the time they will be obliged to pay. Subsequent decisions on your insurance provision are irrelevant
