Hi,

I'm looking for rough prices of blinds and remember someone here recommending B4I.ie (blinds for Ireland) before.

Does anyone have a comparison with a bricks & mortar place on the prices?
I'm going to look at the weekend and will have the B4I prices with me to compare to the shops but would like to know if they are realistic comparisons or over/underpriced.

Has anyone actually bought from B4I? What's the quality like ?

Can't remember breakdown even though it was only done about a month ago I got 4 venitian, 3 large roman wood weave, 4 velux all pretty good quality for €2,200. That was from a shop acme blinds. The 2 previous quotes were for €3,400 same blinds (Thomas Sanderson) and €1,800 (lesser quality) from Hillary Blinds. I was swayed by price and by the fact that I could see better selection in the shop and of course they can't blow you off so easily either. Dunno if thats any use to you whatsoever but there is definitely substantial differences in price.

Not sure where you're located. We got conservatory blinds from thomas sandersons about 4 years ago. While I love them and they are still like new, they were very pricey- €1800 for 4 average size and 4 small size. They have a good range of colours.

For ordinary blinds, we recently used East Coast Blinds and I found them excellent value. We got a large front living room blind, 5 blackout blinds for the bedrooms and 2 pvc venetian blinds for bathrooms for €700. If you are in Dublin or surrounds it would be worth getting a quote. We ordered the blinds and they were supplied and fitted in 5 days.

Do East Coast Blinds have a website to view their products and size prices, or do you have to call for a price? Can't seem to locate it on google.
Here are other places, no one came back with a quote yet.

http://www.itzala.net/ie/shop These are great for black out blindsd
Thomas Sanderson is doing buy 2 get third window blind free, but basically means, 1/3 off the price of your windows, plenty of places at the moment doing 50% off each window.
