Using Tax Credits of partner on Back to work Enterprise Scheme

my other half is doing the BTWES which give them 2 years not having to pay tax. My question is, as i was using some of his tax credits before this scheme started can i continue to do so and take the rest which will now be unused by him as he is exempt for the moment.

Your partner is exempt from tax on his social welfare income under the Back to Work Enterprise Scheme. He will be liable to tax on any income from his business (although there are other reliefs than may reduce this).

The BTWES will not affect your entitlement to use some of his unused credits.
